Lilja’s Cleaning Service is a local business that specializes in residential, commercial and real estate cleanings. We have operated in Nevada County for over 20 years and in that time we have built a list of clientele that continually rely on our dependability, attention to detail, and quality of service. We are proud to include in our commercial clientele both our local radio station KVMR and Nevada Theatre,as well as Water Heaters Only and Interwest.
Who I Am
My name is Lilja Gudmundsdottir. Born and raised in Iceland, I came to Nevada County in 1997. I have been heading Lilja’s Cleaning Service for over 20 years. I started this business as a one woman enterprise, often bringing my young sons along. Throughout the years, I have steadily grown the business from the ground up and built an extensive list of loyal clientele. This business is certainly a family affair, my sons have now been an important part of the crew for the last 6 years.
On a more personal level, I spend my free time exploring and enjoying nature, especially the river, doing nature photography and spending time with my partner and my family.
